As we approach tomorrow's election I just felt led to join with so many others and offer this prayer to our Father. Please pray with me and please VOTE!!!
Father, in Jesus' name I thank you for the United States and for our government that was established on the very principles of faith in You. I thank you for your care and protection over this great country and for the abundance from Your hand for her. I pray and intercede for our current president, representatives, senators, judges, even our mayors, governors, policemen and women and for all those that You have placed in authority over us in any way. I pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon them. Your Word promises us in Romans 13 that You have placed them in their positions so we trust that You are working in and thru them.
Your Word says "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" (Ps 33:12). We receive Your blessing, Father, You are our refuge and stronghold in times of trouble. So we declare with our mouths that Your people dwell safely in this land, and we prosper abundantly, despite what the media may be telling us Lord! We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus! It is also written in Your Word that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord, and you turn it whichever way You desire. So Lord as we elect a new leader tomorrow we believe that his heart is in Your hand and that his decisions are divinely directed by You! No matter the outcome Lord we know that You are able!! We trust that You will use whomever is in office to complete Your Will so we have no need of fear or anxiety. You have told us to be anxious for nothing, so Lord we rest secure in knowing that You are in control!
Father God, I love you and I thank you for allowing us the honor to cast all our cares onto You! I thank you for sending the Comforter for times like these! I ask you to continue to remember us Lord! All these things I ask in the Holy Name of your Son, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ!

Jehovah Rapha
Father God, Jehovah Rapha, I come to you this evening on behalf of Charity. Lord, you knew her in her mother's womb, you have engraved her on the palm of your hand, you have plans to prosper her Lord. We believe this because she is Your creation Lord! Thank you for making her according to your plan and purpose. Now Father, I ask you to correct this condition in her heart. Lord, amaze us with supernatural healing for her. Amaze the Dr's and nurses and other caregivers that are surrounding her. Lord use their hands as your instruments if that be your will. Whatever it takes we ask that you move on her behalf. We trust your plan and your will for her health and safety.
Now Lord I ask that you pour out your love and peace on her family and her friends. You give them your peace that passes ALL understanding. Remind them that as much as they love her, You love her more and You desire abundant life for Charity. Surround them with your Presence and with people who will love on them and comfort them in this stressful time. He is the Way
Father God, Abba Daddy, tonight I come to you with much anticipation as we prepare for a day of worship in Your house tomorrow. Lord, all across this country we will go to our different places of worship, but we will come together as one body to glorify Your name! Praise you Lord! Thank you for allowing us entry to the Holy of Holies. Thank you Jesus for making a way for us!
Lord tonight there are so many on my heart who are hurting. People whose lives have been turned upside down by hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding and so many other natural disasters. People who have lost their entire livelihood by fire. People whose homes are torn apart by divorce or deceit. Your children are hurting Lord. I know this hurts your heart too because you've promised us that our High Priest feels what we feel.
Lord it's so easy to be overcome by all the pain. I know Lord, I've done it. But Father I praise you for promising us that we don't need to be worried by the things of this world because you have already overcome this world! Praise you Lord! Lord I praise you that your ways are perfect, that your Word is flawless. Father I ask you to be our shield and our refuge for there is no God besides you Lord and no Rock except you, our God! Father you arm us with your strength and make our ways perfect. Sustain those who are struggling with your right hand.
Father so many are wandering away from you. So many are allowing the enemy to distract them and I ask that you draw them back home. Lord, with patience and love woo their hearts Lord. Change them and make them long for you so that you can in turn, fill them with your love, your peace and your joy. Thank you for your gentleness Lord. Thank you for reminding us that it's your desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance so do the work Lord. Thank you for working in me.
Father I praise you and I just can't wait to see how you're going to show yourself great even in the midst of so much hurt and pain. I pray these things knowing that you have already heard and answered them Lord. In the name of Jesus I ask it. Amen....

Sometimes they get it right.
Did anyone watch the "Stand up 2 Cancer" program this weekend? I did. I have to say that once in a while 'Hollywood' gets things right - well, close to right. haha Cancer affects each and every one of us. If you haven't had it directly, I'll bet you've had a family member who has, or at the very least a dear friend. It touches us all. I sat weeping thru most of the show - thinking of my dad's losing battle - but ultimate victory! Anyway, we received a request today that just touched my heart so I'd ask you to join me in lifting up these - along with so many others who are in the fight for their life.
Oh Abba Daddy. I can barely even come up with the words. You know how heavy my heart gets when I hear the news about another person battling cancer. I know how it hurts your heart too, Father. I believe Your Word when it says that it's your desire that none of us should perish and that you want to give us abundant life, not lives filled with disease, yet because there is sin in this world diseases will come. I believe it breaks your heart too, Lord. Thank you for being a High Priest who understands us, Jesus.
Tonight Lord I want to lift Amanda Johnson to your throne. Father, though I don't know this precious sister in Christ I ask that you heal her. Jehovah Rapha move in her body and show the Dr's that you are the Great Physician! Or use her Dr's in a way that will make them know it was Your Supernatural Touch on them! Strengthen her. Restore her. Encourage her. Be her Rock, her Shield, her Strong Tower Lord. Father, I lift two precious children, Will Hodges and Mary Kate Rushing who are even now at St. Jude's to your throne. I ask that you heal them Lord. I ask that you work in their tiny bodies in a way that will make your glory known to all around them. I ask for your blessings on their families. Lord, I can't even begin to imagine how they must be feeling so Holy Spirit you intercede for me - hear my groaning and present them to the Father on my behalf. Thank you.
Father, I also ask for you to continue the work you're doing in Teresa Brown. Lord, she is such an amazing woman of faith. So strong. So courageous. Father, I ask that you continue to heal her body. I thank you for the work you will complete in her. May you be praised for it Lord!
I ask a special blessing on all the ones who work with cancer patients in our hospitals, cancer centers, doctor's offices, labs, all over Lord. I ask that you give them renewed compassion, courage and strength as they deal with death on a daily basis. Lord I ask that you use them in a way that brings healing to those who are in their care and then they will recognize that it's Your Hand - not by their own that healing took place. Thank you for blessing them with the talents and the wisdom to do their jobs.
Father, I love you. I thank you for my daddy. I thank you that even though he lost his fight in body that he is now in his glorified body, made perfect, no tumors in his brain, hair back in place that the chemo and radiation took away, arms and legs made strong and that he is safe with you. Let him know how much I love and miss him. Thank you for choosing him to be my daddy. You are so good to me Lord. I ask all these things in the precious name of your blessed son Jesus. Amen...

How Time Flies!
Father God I thank you for your care of Sarahjane! You are so faithful! Thank you for hearing our prayers and for answering. I stand amazed by You, yet again! Continue to sustain her and keep her in your loving care. You are good Lord!
Today Lord I come with such an excited heart. I can't believe in a year we'll hold our first conference as a ministry. Lord, I know you've worked out so many of the details and I ask that you continue to do so. I ask that you give Leigh and Ginger your supernatural discernment and clarity for the things that YOU want to happen, to be said, to be done. I ask that even now you start to move in the hearts of the people who will be coming to the conference. I ask that you soften them to whatever message you have for them. I ask for protection over the speakers, over the people working, over the preparations, over every aspect. Bless it Lord and we will honor and glorify YOU alone!!!
Lord I thank you for bringing together such an amazing group of women who are sold out to serving you! Ladies who, above all else, love YOU most! Do not allow the enemy to distract them with stuff. Stuff like doubt, confusion, fear. Those are NOT things from you Lord because you have promised us that we can do ALL things thru you so we rest in that strength. Pray for Sarahjane and Leigh
If you haven't, please pop on Leigh's blog and read about Sarahjane, then please join me in praying for this precious little girl. All of Leigh's kids are just amazing but I have to admit that Sarahjane has a special place in my heart!! Please pray.
Father God I thank you and I praise you for who You are. I thank you for being our comforter. I thank you for being our peace. I thank you for being our rock in times of uncertainty. Father, there is none like You! There is no other God like You Almighty God!
Today I want to lift my sweet little Sarahjane to your throne. Father, you have plans for this amazing little girl and we know that these plans are to give her hope and a future and we rest in that knowledge. Father we trust that you are working all these things in SJ's life for her good and for you glory and we take great joy in watching You work. Though we are battling the temptation to worry and to fear, Lord put on Your whole armor and pick up our shield of faith to fight these fiery darts of the enemy. Lord I ask you to place Your hedge of protection around Sarahjane's entire body and for Your angels that are encamped around her to deliver her from any attempt by the evil one on her life and health. Lord we claim that because she is your child that no evil will befall her and that no plague or calamity will come near her. Father Your Word abides in Sarahjane and will deliver to her perfect peace of mind and wholeness in body and spirit even to the joints and marrow of her bones so Lord we approach You thru the blood of Jesus asking for complete healing and for your will to be done in Sarahjane.
Lord I pray for Leigh and Clay. Remind them Lord that you know what it's like to watch your own child suffer and hurt. Remind them to cling to you and to each other. Protect them during this trial. I would ask you to shield them, both individually, and their marriage from any darts the enemy tries to hurl at them. Lord may they rest in Your arms of peace and comfort, trusting that you love Sarahjane more than they ever possibly could.
I ask you to guide the Dr's to find whatever issue may be taking place. I ask that every caretaker that they come in contact with will be extensions of Your hands. I ask that each test will go smoothly and answers will be found quickly. Thank you for providing us with such advances in medicine and for allowing us access to these advances. Lord I ask you to move quickly to relieve Sarahjane's pain and give her an awesome day today as she goes to the water park with her family. Lord I ask you to give Leigh and Clay a great day too knowing that you have not left your throne, that you are in control and that before the foundations of the world were laid you knew this time would come in their lives. Thank you for allowing us the honor of casting our cares onto you and we trust you to do the work. In the strong name of Jesus I ask and pray these things.

Seems like a good day to pray!
Friday the 13th just seemed like a great day to post a prayer to me so here goes.
Father God, thank you for this day. Thank you for waking me up with birds singing your praises. Thank you for a peaceful night's sleep. Thank you for your protection. Father you never cease to just blow my mind with your mercy and compassion. There's no reason for you to continue to sustain this earth, we abuse it, we ignore it, we take advantage of it and yet, because of your great love for us, you sustain. You are faithful! Forgive us for neglecting your creation. It still takes my breath away. Thank you Lord.
Father I thank you for STMM. I thank you for planting the seed in Leigh. I thank you for cultivating it, growing it and Lord I ask that you continue to make it thrive and blossom. Lord I pray your protection over the thorns that will come. I pray that your divine Hand will weed this ministry for Your glory. I pray that in the process, that will be painful at times, You will give us Kingdom vision - Your vision - for this ministry. Lord we ask this for no other reason then we may "be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor". That is our goal - nothing else - to display Your splendor.
Lord I love you. I thank you for every woman you've brought to this ministry. I thank you for the gifts you've given them. I thank you for the things you've brought them thru in their lives for such a time as this. We know you are working all things in our lives together for our good because we love you and we know that we are called to your purpose. So we thank you for that.
